Friday No. Two

So I was going to do a February goals post and go over last months goals, but I started writing it and I barely accomplished anything on my list so that's not happening haha! Not all the month was lost though because I did do some new year cleaning and crossed two things off my Miami Bucketlist.

Actually my first night back in Miami, I went to Wynwood Art Walk. If I was cool and artsy (and also very rich), that patriotic surfboard would for sure hang in my future home! The next weekend, I spent a cooler Saturday in Miami at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. Having a car here in Miami has given me so much more freedom to do things in Miami I rarely got a chance to before! Thank you Mom and Dad :)
This month, I hope to visit a few more things on my list: Coconut Grove Art Festival, Fairchild, one of the brunch spots, and more beach time!

This past weekend was Chili Cookoff which was a blast! I was really close to the stage for Chris Young and wow, I really think I've fallen in love haha. Sunday night I literally slept 15 hours straight!

In other exciting news, I am beyond thrilled that it's finally February because that means baseball!! Growing up, my dad didn't watch baseball and my high school didn't have a team so I didn't care much for the sport. But my freshman year of college, my roommates dragged me to a Hurricanes baseball game and I fell in love with the sport. This season will be extra special for me not only because it's my last as an undergrad, but also because this year I'm a Sugarcane! You probably don't know what a Sugarcane is so I'll tell you. The University of Miami Sugarcanes were the first group of collegiate level bat girls and were founded in 1968. In short, I'll be running after foul balls and retrieving bats at the home baseball games. My first game will be the alumni game on the 13th and I'm so excited! Pray I see some famous alum, lol

Also in exciting news, next week I'm hosting a little Galentine's Day soiree to celebrate my favorite gal pals! A breakfast menu, sangria, and mimosas are in the works. I'll try to devote a post to details after the party, but here's some sneak peak inspo!
