Friday No. One

Long time no bloggie but I'm back! I'll be using this space a little differently than how I have in the past in hopes that it will act more like an online journal for myself and a place where I can share exciting life updates with family and friends. Let's be honest, I'm no fashion blogger! Since I literally haven't posted in over a year I will probably make some sort of catch-up post or 2015 wrap up post, so stay tuned for that.

This is my last week of classes before Thanksgiving Break and let me tell you, I could not be more excited to be headed home! I haven't been back to Satellite Beach for anything longer than 48 hours since August. Needless to say, I really miss my family, puppy snuggles with Nyla, and the beach.

Sunday night, I had an awesome time in West Palm Beach with a few friends seeing Zac Brown Band. Favorite moment of the night: the band's performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. Amazing, trust! Also, super obsessed with the dress I wore and any swing dress for that matter.

I love Thanksgiving as much as the next girl, but I am way too excited for Christmas and beyond ready to celebrate this season! I haven't decorated my apartment all jolly just yet but bath and body works holiday candles have been on constant burn and I've also been loving this She Reads Truth Christmas Spotify playlist from last year. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still super pumped for roast turkey and corn casserole.

Finally, I wanted to share some very happy news I've been enjoying over the past couple of weeks. My favorite blogger Victoria Strader announced her pregnancy at the end of last month and ever since, I have found so much joy in reading her recent posts. I've been following her blog for a while now so to see her and her husband with a baby on the way is really exciting. It feels really weird to be excited for a couple I don't actually know, but I find myself caring a lot for most of the bloggers I read regularly. The internet can be a very strange place but also an amazing opportunity for people to share their testimony and God's many blessings. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting her page to read their beautiful story of faith.

Have a wonderful weekend friends! #gocanes
